Helen Maffini is a Canadian who is currently working in the UAE as an educational consultant. She is married with two children aged 5 and 11. Helen Maffini has lived and worked in nine countries: Canada, UK, France, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, Indonesia, Bahrain and UAE. She was herself a third culture kid who lived in Japan as a teenager while her father worked as a scientist and her mother a language teacher.

Helen has a passion for educating young children and works in an educational reform project in the UAE.
